Millions Rendered Destitute Just For The Sake Of Power

In the recent and ongoing exercise to forcibly evict thousands of farmers, some 300,000 farm workers were also reportedly displaced.

Assuming that each worker had a spouse plus three children, then 1.5 million people were rendered homeless, jobless, penniless, foodless and in may cases stateless - that is they are internal refugees. Will somebody please correct either my mathematics or the premise of 300,000 employees, or both.

Those at the top of ZANU PF are guilty of many heinous crimes against Zimbabwe and its inhabitants, but have they really rendered over 10 percent of the entire population destitute as merely a part of a strategy to retain power?

As an extension of the above, how were these homeless Zimbabweans accounted for in the census, which occurred at essentially the same time as the evictions?
