Father Labib Kobti, one of the Founding Members of the HCEF also opened (in 1994) one of the first websites calling for Jews, Christians and Muslims to work together for World Peace: Al-Bushra; http://www.al-bushra.org

His community in San Francisco - the largest Arab-American Roman Catholic congregation – is 85% Palestinian refugees.

He is concerned that as more and more Palestinian Christians are moving to the United States, the stage is being set for a propaganda campaign, claiming that the Israeli-Palestinian dispute is a conflict between Judaism and Islam, when in reality, it is simply another territorial dispute between nations.
