Six years ago, Christian and Muslim religious leaders addressed the world in the aftermath of the brutal war in Lebanon, where Christian and Muslim alike abandoned their religious principles, in favor of their corporate religious identities.
Remembering the horrors of the Lebanese war and mindful of the continuing suffering of The Holy Land, they turned their gaze toward Jerusalem, sacred to Jews, Christians and Muslims, the world over. Their message is still relevant, today and their call still appears to be unheeded.
