According to Roman Catholic Church Tradition, Barbara is the Patron Saint of: Architects, Artillerymen, Brassworkers, Brewers, Builders,Carpenters, Construction & Electrical Workers, Firefighters, Geologists, Mathematicians, Miners, Military Engineers, Stonemasons and Tilers.
Saint Barbara is invoked against: Lightning, Fire, Sudden Death and Impenitence.
