Lois Baker is another exceptional AAM® sponsor. An 80 year-old retired nurse from Houston, Texas, Mrs. Baker is contributing to the cause of mine clearance by walking miles of the rugged Appalachian Trail to raise money for mine clearance as well as interest in the landmine issue.
When Mrs. Baker ended her journey in October, area students and UNA chapter members joined her in eastern Pennsylvania for a day of walking to help her towards her goal of raising money for mine clearance in Mozambique.
