Out of the WTO
Please Sign on and circulate
The following call to " Keep water out of WTO" was circulated to over 300
delegation members in Bali. Let's take it to Johannesburg with as many
signatures as possible.
Please provide organisational endorsements by sending a message to

Governments are now negotiating a General Agreement on Trade in Services
(GATS) at the World Trade Organisation (WTO) in Geneva to liberalize
international access to services. By June 2002, all WTO members were to
tell other countries what sectors they want them to add to their existing
GATS commitments. By March 2003, countries have to say what they are
prepared to give up in return. Not much time left!
