Just as the United States financed militant Islamic Fundamentalism in Afghanistan, so also has Israel has secretly supported Hamas as an alternative to the PLO. (Please see below.)
Should there be any reprisals, the Bush Administration will most likely also use these to strengthen its determination to extend the so-called “war on terrorism”, by calling for even more police state measures.
We can only hope that all who mourn Shaikh Yassin will be able to channel their just rage into non-violent means, by bringing the State Terrorists to Justice, in some country that still respects International Law and common decency – if there is one left that hasn’t been blackmailed into subservience or pummelled with false information.
