Relatives said that the three men were cousins returning from a family gathering on the Muslim Eid al-Fitr feast holiday and had nothing to do with militants.

Also on Wednesday, in a separate incident, nine-year-old Hani Rabea’a was killed when Israeli soldiers fired at Rafah refugee camp in southern Gaza Strip. According to the Palestinian News Agency (WAFA), Hani was playing with his friends near his house when he was shot in the head.

Since 28 of September 2000, over 2700 Palestinians have been killed. At least 85% were civilians and 19% children.
