The United Nations has warned that Iraq has only a few months’ food supplies and UNICEF is racing to provide food for over 400,000 malnourished children.
Meanwhile, U.N. Inspectors continue their work, proving that Iraq is virtually defenceless.
The United States and Kingdom have recently intensified their bombing of Iraq, enforcing their self-proclaimed “No-Fly-Zones” which cut Iraq into three parts.
With or without additional intensification of the Bush War in Iraq, the Middle East is now occupied.
The approximately 250,000 foreign troops in the region can now be pointed in whichever direction Mr. Bush sees fit.
U.S. troops are now also in Central Asia, the Caucasus and the Balkans – as well as many other places around the globe.
There appears to be little anyone can do to avoid U.S. domination.
Nevertheless, such a situation contains its own destruction and is extremely detrimental to the people of the United States.
The United States spends "$8,271 per Second or $725,274,725 per Day or $5,076,923,076 per Week on its military"

U.S. National Debt is over $6,465,444,736,136.31, as of this writing.
“The estimated population of the United States is 290,637,287 so each citizen's share of this debt is $22,245.74. The National Debt has continued to increase an average of $1.42 billion per day since September 30, 2002!”

Simple book-keeping knowledge would indicate that the U.S. economy – like that of the former Soviet Union - will collapse under the weight of its Military – unless the American public decides to change government policy.
Meanwhile, the Bulletin of the Atomic Scientists has set their Doomsday Clock to seven minutes to midnight.
“Little progress is made on global nuclear disarmament. The United States rejects a series of arms control treaties and announces it will withdraw from the Anti-Ballistic Missile Treaty. Terrorists seek to acquire and use nuclear and biological weapons.”
