MAJOR SOURCES AND APPROXIMATE AMOUNTS OF PLUTONIUM-238 DISTRIBUTED WORLDWIDE

NASA will launch two Mars Rovers from the space center in Florida in May and June. Each will carry plutonium-238, cobalt-57, and curium-244 on-board.

The Global Network will organize a demonstration at the Kennedy Space Center on May 3, from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm to oppose the launching of nuclear power into space.
