Middle East politics dominated discussions in the World Economic Forum (WEF) on Thursday, January 25, overshadowing talks about business and economics, traditionally the heart of the agenda at Davos.
"The situation in the Middle East is very much at the forefront of concerns among delegates here", WEF founder Klaus Schwab was quoted as saying by Agence France-Presse (AFP).
The second day of the international economic gathering kicked off with an hour-long closed-door meeting between Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas and German Chancellor Angela Merkel.
