The U.N. OBSERVER & International Report will function erratically for the next month, or so, in Mourning for Christiane N. Martens, co-publisher and guiding force of this publication.
A courageous champion of Human Rights, Animal Welfare and the Environment, as well as a personal example to all who knew her, we are at a loss without her.
Christiane left her body, Monday morning, at approximately 11:45 Hague time. She died peacefully in her sleep, after a long illness, during which she was still able to guide all company policy, for her mind was always more than healthy.
