Light in a Desert, an Introduction to Mike Wilson

Somewhere, between the total chaos advocated by those who would have completely open borders and the regimented conformity of those who would admit no “strangers”, there are sensible immigration policies which each nation must adopt, according to its own circumstances.

As demographic, geographic, economic, political, social and ethical considerations are weighed in the balance, we sometimes forget the most basic factors. All travellers on their journeys – for whatever reason, wherever they are and whoever they may be – deserve the respect required by the universal maxim: “There, but for the Grace of God, go I.”

Here are two stories about one Man, Mike Wilson, who is struggling to be truly Humane, in a world dominated by inhumanity.

Perhaps, his story should never have been told – publicly – for the denizens of darkness ever seek to destroy the Light.

Nevertheless, his “mission” had already been discovered before these articles were written and the aggressively self-righteous are threatening his survival.

Hopefully, his example may encourage us all to find ways we can each reach out to one another, while our “leaders” consider what they consider “best for us”.

Perhaps also, a greater knowledge of Mike Wilson’s Work will even convert his enemies.
