Armistice Day plus 86 Years

Article image At the eleventh hour of the eleventh day of the eleventh month in 1918, the “War to End All Wars” ended.
The senseless carnage of trench warfare opened the way for the Bolshevik Revolution while the vindictiveness of the Treaty of Versailles set the stage for the Second World War.

We are currently witnessing more senseless carnage, in more wars, in many parts of our planet.

As Pete Seeger sang:
