U.S. Administration Begins to Acknowledge 9/11 Uncertainties

The current Bush Administration in the United States is coming under increasing pressure to be more forthcoming in admitting what it knew in advance about the September 11 terrorist attacks.

National Security Adviser Condoleezza Rice told the press, on Thursday, that intelligence reports had warned of probable attacks on American targets, but that the White House thought the attacks would be outside the United States.
