European diplomats entered the besieged Church of the Nativity for the first time today, in an attempt to bring the siege of the Church to an end.

Inside the church the captive group consists of approximately 180 Palestinian civilians, 30 clergy, and a number of individuals from the International Solidarity Movement, who stormed the church Thursday, smuggling in food supplies and medical supplies for those trapped inside.
